Querschubanlagen / Transverse Thruster
Die jahrelange Mitarbeit bei der Entwicklung, Dimensionierung, Konstruktion und Inbetrienahme von Propelleranlagen für Schiffe hat mich dazu veranlasst, aus der Sicht des Maschinenbauers meine Erfahrungen zusammenfassend insbesondere für Querschubanlagen mit Propeller niederzuschreiben.
The collaboration for years at the domain of the development, the dimensioning, construction and testing of propeller plants for ships brought me to record in summery my knowlege and experience from the point of view of a mechanical engineer particulary with regard to transvers thrusters.
Calculation taking into acount various parameters
Estimation of the transverse thrust or the power requirement of a transverse thruster with CP-propeller by means of the ratio of thrust figure
Calculation of the transverse force generated by a transverse thruster for prescibed constant rotational speed of a ship
Movement of a ship from the rest position only caused by a constant transverse thrust
Calculation of the movement of a ship from the rest position only caused by a transverse thrust
On the basis of mass inertia and friction, an attempt is made to determine the time until the system stops when the energy supply is interrupted for a fix-propeller transverse truster .
Calculation for the estimation of the run-out behavior of a transverse thruster
