Theorie und Berechnung eines Alpha-Stirling-Motors:

• Die Schmidt-Theorie / -Analyse ist die Grundlage der Berechnung.

• Die Schmidt-Theorie basiert auf der klassischen Thermodynamik (Gasgesetz u. a.) und der Kinematik (Kurbeltrieb). 

• Das System arbeitet mit einer konstanten Gasmasse mit  veränderlichem Volumen.
• Theorie und Berechnung lassen bei dieser Art der Betrachtung nur qualitative Einschätzungen zu, aus denen sich Tendenzen ableiten lassen. 

• Mit der Theorie kann nur die Arbeit ermittelt werden nicht die Leistung!
• Die Theorie (pdf-Datei)  und die Berechnung (xls-Datei) sind nachstehend auf geführt.
• Zum Öffnen der Dateien sind die entsprechenden Programme (Adobe Reader bzw. Excel) erforderlich.

Theorie and calculation of an Alpha-Stirling-Engine: 

• The Schmidt-theory / -analysis is the basis for the calculation. 
• The theory acts on the assumptions of the classic thermodynamics (gas law a. s. o.) and the kinematics (crank mechanism).
• The system acts with a constant mass of gas with a variable volume. 
• The theory and the calculation admit only qualitative valuations  from which tendencies can be derived.
• The theory makes it possibly to calculate the engine work but not the engine power.
